Gathering the Gil 

This is an event to try to raise money for the FC.  We're wanting to save money to try upgrade to a mansion in the near future and we're counting on you to make that happen!

This event will take place ALL weekend!  It will start Friday, May 15th at 3pm PT/5pm CT/6pm ET and it will end Sunday, May 17th at 3pm PT/5pm CT/6pm ET.

To participate in this event you MUST Sign up first.  You will be assigned a team member that you should work closely with to ensure you win the loot!

***We need at least 6 people to sign up for this event or it will be cancelled.  Please encourage your fellow FC mates to sign up and participate with you!***

Individual Prizes are as follows: 1st-250k, 2nd-100k, 3rd-50k
Team Prizes are as follows: Cordials and High End Gathering/Perception foods 

Important Info

*there will be a small bonus for level 1-20 characters since they will be at a disadvantage*
Every 10 items gets 1 extra bonus point

The prize for side missions are gathering/perception Materia

Miners: 
Shards, Crystals, Clusters (sets of 10) are worth 5 pts
Ores, and other useful items (sets of 10) are worth 3 pts
Other useless or cheap items are worth 1 pt

 Botanists:

Shards, Crystals, Clusters (sets of 10) are worth 5 pts
Seeds, woods, and other useful items (sets of 10) are worth 3 pts

**Waterfowl feathers/prickly pineapples/mazlaya greens**

Fishermen:
Lower level area fish (sets of 3) are worth 5 pts
Midlevel area fish (sets of 3) are worth 3 pts
High level area fish(sets of 3) are worth 1 pts 
**Mahi Mahi/ Silver sharks/Mazlaya Marlins**

Important information on the fishing: 

 You will need to check in where you are fishing.  If you move to a higher tier please turn in all your lower level fish through moogle mail with the area you were fishing in the body of the text.  We're counting on you to be honest about where you have been fishing.  Please don't cheat.

Lower Level areas:
Lower La Noscea, Middle La Noscea, Limsa Lominsa Lower/upper, Western Thanalan, Central Thanalan, New/Old Gridania, Central Shroud

Midlevel areas:
Eastern La Noscea, Upper La Noscea, Eastern Thanalan, Southern Thanalan, Eastern Shroud, Southern Shroud, Northern Shroud

High Level areas:
Northern Thanalan, Central Coerthas, Mor Dhona, Outer La Noscea

If you're a role player looking for others to join in an adventure with, then the Pathfinders of server Malboro have a scheduled event for you!

Defending the Downtrodden

The Holy See of Ishgard is under siege by the Dravanian hordes, and in response many of the dragoons and knights of Coerthas have been recalled to defend the capital city.  As a result, the Coerthas central highlands have only a handful of soldiers to defend the beleaguered civilians and workers.  With ogres, dragons and Ixal rampaging through the region, and a serious shortage of food, weapons and construction supplies, it falls to those outside Ishgard to come to aid the denizens of Coerthas.

Selah Everheart, the Sapphire Dragoon, holds little love for her homeland, something she has made very clear.  However, she doesn't want to abandon the people who live there to suffering and death when they can be helped.  So she and her wife, Ginal Everheart, have issued a call to anyone who can help, be you a disciple of war, magic, land or hand.

Time and place: Friday, May 8, 8pm central/9pm eastern.  We will meet in the tavern of Fallgourd Float, of the northern shroud.

Combat: We will take part in FATEs and leve parties to represent fighting off monsters from the region.

Gathering: Gatherers will be asked to bring materials that can be found in the central highlands to Selah and Ginal to represent bringing supplies to the outposts of Coerthas.  You will be paid for your materials based on market board averages on the day of the event.

Crafing: Crafters will be asked to make small quantities of gear to donate, to represent bringing arms and armor to the soldiers of Coerthas.  This gear will be lower level and cheap to craft, so no need to go out of your way for anything.  All gear will be bought based off the day's market board averages. 

Downtime: About every 20-30 minutes there will be breaks between the action to give our characters opportunities to interact with each other.  Of course there's nothing stopping you from role play interactions at any time, these are simply designated moments to gather all participants. 

This event is open to all who live on Malboro, regardless of your free company.

Love letter to my Pathfinders

A letter to my Loves 

You guys sure know how to make a girl feel good.  Thank you for all your wonderful letters.  I will say it is just what I needed.  Needless to say I have had a pretty bad week.  I'm trying my hardest to stay cheerful and upbeat for all of you and it is hard work to say the least.  I had a moment of weakness where I almost relinquished control of the FC to someone else because I didn't think I could continue to lead you all.

I've decided against that after reflection and after having time to calm down from the events that took place.  I hope that we can all pull together and make this FC what I have always envisioned it would be.  A safe, happy place where we can all play together and become the best of friends.  I know that we all have personalities and that they wont always mesh but I also think we are a family, and families pull together.

When I think of you all at the end of the day it is with nothing except love.  You are why I continue to get on everyday, and why I strive to better myself and the company.  So I hope you will all help me with my goals like I am trying to help you with yours.  

So here's to new beginnings and new adventures to be had within our company and all of Eorzea!

Tanks for all the Help! 

This event is going to be very similar to "The magic touch".  This is an event to let anyone who is interested in learning how to tank it up in dungeons.  So grab your sword or axe and get to swinging!  Taunt the hell outta those monsters and be our defenders!

This event will take place ALL weekend.  It will start Friday, May 3rd at 3pm PT/5pm CT/6pm ET and it will end Sunday, May 5th at 3pm PT/5pm CT/6pm ET.

Scheduled Event 9

The Magic Touch 

This is a new event type that I'd like to try.  With this event anyone who is interested or even just a tad curious about how to play one of the Disciples of Magic classes can try it out and get hints and tips from our veteran magic users. So throw on a robe and your witches hat and start slinging that magic around!

This is an ALL weekend event.  It starts Friday, April 24th at 3pm PT/5pm CT/6pm ET and it will End on Sunday, April 26th at 3pm PT/5pm CT/6pm ET. 

I hope to see you all participate and learn some new skills!

Garden Raffle 3

Garden Raffle Time! 

It's that time again people!!  We have a TON of fruits and veggies just begging to be used.  Six lucky winners will get this load of loot to use as they please.  Rules are the same as before so lets raise those funds for the FC!

This drawing will take place on Saturday, April 25th at 5pm CT.

To participate you need to send Ely 50 gil via moogle mail.  Please put garden raffle in the body of the letter so she knows what it is for.  Anything over 50 gil is considered a gift to the FC and does NOT get you any more tickets.

This event has been very successful in raising money for us and I thank you all!

Scheduled event 8

The Marriage of Elysande

As I'm sure you all know by now Ely is getting married!  Kazuma is the luckiest guy in the FC and they have invited you all to attend the happy event!

This event will take place Friday the 17th at 6pm PT/8pm CT/ 9pm ET.

Bachelor/Bachelorette Party 

for the hours before the big event Ely and Kazuma are hosting a get together where we can all just chill, eat good food, and watch dancers strut their stuff. This will take place on the 17th at 4pm PT/6pm CT/ 7pm ET.  Once it gets close to time for the wedding we'll all go as a group to get the real party started.

The Wedding  

 Everyone is welcome to attend the wedding.  If you don't have an invitation let Ely know and she'll get one to you asap.  She will be handing out party favors you can use after the vows have been said to celebrate.  The bride does ask that no one does "blow the bride up" time.  She doesn't like that at all and finds it a bit tacky.  Don't make the bride cry on her wedding day please! 

There will be at least one speech given at the wedding so please be courteous.

The After Party  

Ely and Kazuma invite you to spend time with them in the church after the vows have been said.  There will be dancing and we'd like to get lots of pictures of all the guests having a good time.  We paid for a 2 hour block of time so we might as well get our moneys worth!!

Minion's for all! 

Who doesn't like a minion?  We all see them around, we all secretly (or not so secretly) covet them.  Well here is your chance to get your hands on one!  We're holding a raffle so you can win a fantastic minion that was handpicked by Ely!  (and lets face it...everyone wants something that Ely has had her hands on...amiright?)

The Rules 

Just like the garden raffle you only get one ticket.

• 100 Gil buys you a ticket, anything over that is considered a donation to the company.  Send this by Moogle Mail to Ely with the words Minion Raffle in the body of the letter.

• The drawing will be held on Saturday April, 18th at 5pm PT/7pm CT/8pm ET.

Scheduled Event 7

Broaden your horizons 

We all get stuck in a rut sometimes and we often need someone to kick us in the pants to get out of it.  Well here is that kick!  I would like for you all to pick a class that you thought you'd never like in a million years and I want you to level it at least 10 levels.  You may find that you have written off a real gem of a class, or you might find that you were correct.  Either way this is the time to figure it out! 

This event will take place on Friday, April 10th.  No real start or end time so just do it!
Submit what you did to Ely on the 11th and She'll have a nice prize for the person who leveled the most/leveled the most classes the minimum amount.

• If you have started all of the classes you can still participate.  Just gain 10 levels of a class that you didn't give much of a chance to.

• If you've gotten everything to 50, congratulations!  You can still help out by giving others hints and tips.  We always need teachers!!

• If you can't participate at the stated time...Do it on your own time!  This is about learning new skills and giving things a chance that might be outside your comfort zone.

A letter from the Mistress

I'd like to thank you all for your patience while I had a visit from my mother as well as other issues that came up that required me to step back from the website for a while.  I want to ease back into the swing of things and I hope that my officers will be willing to help me out here as well.

First off,  For those of you who remain with me,  Thank you.  I appreciate everything that you do and love each of you for all the hard work and friendship you put into the Pathfinders.  It wouldn't be what it is without you.  For the new comers,  I hope you find that this is your home and that you feel comfortable and safe here.  That is my ultimate goal with the Pathfinders and if there is anywhere I can make improvements please let me know.

I will be making adjustments to the code of conduct and other pages on the site as I see fit.  Once they are made I will make an announcement but then it will be up to you to check it out and make sure you adhere to the new rules if any are added or amended.  We're pretty well off since we do advertise as NC17 now so I don't think we'll need to do much to the rules.

If any of you can think of an event that you'd like to see done/participate in please submit it to me.  My email is elysande.greystar@gmail.com.  I would appreciate you fleshing out any idea that you have so I don't have to do a whole lot of thinking about them.  I try my best to come up with fun stuff for us all to do but I have different ideas than you do and I can only think so much in one day!

If you run into issues with another member please let me know either through whispers, moogle mail, or email.  I can't help you fix an issue unless you tell me.  I do my best to keep the peace within our little family and most of the time it is a misunderstanding that can be cleared up with an explanation and an apology.  Never forget that behind that character is a real person who has real feelings, and may be having a bad day.
