January 10th

Ginal: My dearest Selah...

I have spent my life hiding away from the world that rejected me.  I have been lost and scared, only finding solace when I have looked to the brightest stars of the heavens, those stars that have guided us to each other for our entire lives.

You changed my life, and the very way I see the world.  You have treated me with kindness, respect, and equality.  You have given me strength and purpose.  You have, in one year, given me more love than I have felt in a lifetime.

we have walked through the fires of all the hells, and still we stand together, tested and unbroken.  Instead of fearing tomorrow, you make me look forward to it.  I love you more than I know how to say.  I cherish you more than I know how to show.  You are my dearest friend, my strongest ally, and my one true soul mate.  I can't find any better way to say what I need to, so allow me to just say this...

I would do it all again, because I will never stop loving you, my dearest Lady Selah.

Selah: Ginal, my kitten, my beloved.

A year ago, I never dreamed that you and I would be standing here before our friends, exchanging vows.  Two years ago, I believed I would never stand here with anyone. "Once,"  I would have said, "was quite enough." 

Six months ago, I would have welcomed this day.  But I didn't think that either of us would live long enough to see it.  Time has a way of changing everything.  Time can even change our souls.

Believe me, kitten...you are my first love, whatever happened in the past.  And you will be my only love, whatever happens in the future.  Time cannot change the bond between us.

Not even death can change that.

You came leaping and whirling into my life, a spinning blur of joy and claws. 

 I thank you for that.  

You moved into my room, and suddenly my books were out of order, and your muddy boots lay on the carpet.

I thank you for that.

You joined me in battle, and I found in you an equal partner, who watched my back and sensed my every intention.

I thank you for that.

And now you will become my spouse.  And the joy and claws, the muddy boots, and the eager, deadly spear will be part of my life forever.

I bless you for that.

Ginal, today is when we make our promises.  And all I can promise is that I will try to be worthy of the love you have given me, freely and without condition, as I give my love to you.

Roric: Samaria Battleborn, before I met you, I never considered eternally bonding with someone.  I thought that all I wanted to do was spend my adventuring days alone.  But you changed that.  From the day you joined our FC, I began to realize over time that you were the girl I was going to marry.  You made me feel love for the first time in this land of Eorzea, and now I want to pledge my everything to you.  I love you, Samaria.

Samaria: My beloved Roric, long ago my journey brought me from the highlands to these unfamiliar lands. Uncertain and afraid, my journey ended with a chance encounter at a little tavern in the shroud.  In the Pathfinders, I found a family.  Much later, I found love.  My devotion to you is everlasting like the forests of Gridania.  My faith in you is deeper than the blackest depths of the Lomisan seas.  My love for you burns hotter than the flames of Ul'dah, and the desert sands of Thanalan.  By the grace of Hydaelyn, and in defiance of all those who would see this beautiful world torn asunder...I, Samaria Battleborn, wed thee as my husband and protector.  I give all of myself to you this day, my heart to your heart, my axe with your axe, two souls entwined, my life for yours...for eternity.

Elysande: Lena, Our love is proof that light can always be found in the darkness.  You started as a cherished friend and confidant, and I loved you for that.  That love has grown and I now know that you are my one true love.  I believe the twelve brought us together and no one can separate us.  
 Lena Rhea, I vow to love you forever and always, in this life and the next.

Lena: Ely, you are always everything I could ever want or need you to be.  I thank the twelve for the day they brought us together.  Elysande Greystar, your name brings me pure joy just to speak it.  You are my best friend and my one true love.  My lady love, I am now, and will forever be yours.

Syngirael: James, my dearest Eyrihanth, I met you on my darkest day.  When our eyes met across the field of battle, I knew I had to know more about you.  The danger and mystery I sensed around you was intoxicating to me.  Now here we stand, before our friends and loved ones, expressing our deepest wish.  Marrying your darkness to my light.  I vow to be the light-bearer in your life.  I will be the silvery solace in your dark nights, and the golden rays that brighten your days.  I vow to love you for who, and what you are wholly.  I will always be your beacon of hope in this life, and the next.  For when light kisses the darkness, dawn is born...Blanjholiht.

James: Syngirael, I had little thought of you when we met, I only pursued self-improvement and power.  The more time spent with you, the less I cared for that.  I only wanted to be with you.  You sparked a flame in my heart that I haven't felt in a long time.  Being here with you is a blessing.  I will cherish and love you for the rest of my days.  I will always care for you and be there when you need me.  I will accompany you through this world and the next, never leaving your side.  I will be your sword and shield.  For when darkness accepts the light, hope is born...Blanjholiht.

Ariel Serenity and Cole Revans
July 1st

Cole: Ariel...from the moment we first met, every day spent with you has been a joyride and every day since has only gotten better.  You've made me laugh more times than I can count. The times we've spent together were probably some of the best times I've ever had here.  We've had our ups and down over that time but we overcame them together.  It's because of those hurdles we've leaped that we've become such a great team. And getting throught DPS queues.  I hope that whatever the future holds for us, it will be a fantastic adventure.

Ariel: Cole, we've both traveled this road alone for so long, but today our paths merge.  Our solo journeys end and I'm forever grateful to you for pushing me to be my best self.  You've driven me to do things I didn't think I could, and I enjoyed every second. I promise to always be there for you with my healing touch and I will look to you to be my shield.  Menphina has blessed us with light and love, and for that reason I choose you to forever hold my aggro.
