Dungeon Crawl 

This event is all about running dungeons and gathering loot!  We're gonna party up, and then party down until we get the drops we want...or we drop from exhaustion.  Whichever comes first! 

This event starts on Friday, September 4th at 5pm PT/7pm CT/8pm ET (right after the raffle drawing) and ends on Sunday, September 6th at 5pm PT/7pm CT/8pm ET.

No need to sign up, just show up and be ready to dungeon!  Contact Samaria Battleborn with any questions you might have, and let the dungeon masters know you're ready and willing to head into the fray!

 

Minion Raffle!

Bring on the Minions! 

It's that time yet again!  Ely is auctioning off some cute, and loveable minions.  The rules are the same as before, and there will TWO winners yet again.

• 100 gil gets you a ticket, anything over that is considered a donation to the company.
• Only one ticket may be purchased, we gotta keep this fair!
• Send the money to Ely through moogle mail, with the words Minion Raffle in the text.

The drawing for this raffle will take place on Friday, September 4th at 5pm PT/7pm CT/8pm ET.

Scheduled Event 22

Off to the Races! 

Who doesn't enjoy the heart pounding excitement of a race?  Who doesn't enjoy fancy barding for their birds?  No one that's who!  So this event will allow you all to show off your pretty birds, race against your fellow FC mates, AND win a handmade barding.  

This event will take place on Saturday, August 29th at 5pm PT/7pm CT/8pm ET. It ends once we have a winner!

We need to gather at Camp Drybone before the starting time so we can go over the race track.  Ely has already decided on where the race will take place, but she wants this to be as fair as possible for everyone so you'll learn the track with everyone else.  There will be a bracket, so please sign up ahead of time so Ely knows where to place you on the bracket. 

• To sign up for the race, send Ely a moogle mail with the word RACE in the body, along with an entry fee of 500 gil. You can donate more money if you like but it wont get you anything else.  It will just be a donation to your company.

Scheduled Event 21

Go for the Gold! 

For this event you will all be crafting away with your goldsmiths.  If you haven't picked up this useful crafting class yet, go ahead and do so in Ul'dah.  In this event you're going to need a partner, who can assist you with gathering your materials!  So grab a buddy and get to gathering and crafting.

This event will take place all weekend long starting on Friday, August 21st at 5pm PT/7pm CT/8pm ET and ending Sunday, August 23rd at 5pm PT/7pm CT/8pm ET.  Make sure you have turned in all of your items by that time!

Da Rules:  you will get points based on how many groups of items you turn in, as well as for difficulty.  The lower level items aren't worth as much as the upper level items.  Please make sure you state who your partner is in the mail that you send in your entries so they can get credit as well.  Winners will receive food, and materia!

Level 30: 2 Malachite ring (HQ)-Raw Malachite, Silver Ore (MNR) 2 points

Level 35: 2 Mythril Wristlets of Crafting (HQ)-Mythril Ore (MNR) 2.5 points

Level 40: 2 Heliodor Ring (HQ)- Raw Heliodor, Electrum Ore (MNR) 2.5 points

Level 45: 2 Amber Choker (HQ)- Raw Amber, Electrum Ore (MNR) 3 points

Level 50: 2 Spinel Earrings (HQ)- Raw Spinel, Electrum Ore (MNR) 3 points

Heavensward Crafters 

 Level 55: 1 Hardsilver Bangle of Fending (HQ)-Hardsilver Sand, Silver Ore, Raw Star Sapphire, Raw Star Ruby, Grade 1 Vitality dissolvent 3.5 points

Level 60: 1 Chrysolite (HQ)- Raw Chrysolite, Cloud Mica 4 points

Once you have crafted all that you can craft turn them into Ely for points.  She will be placing these items for sale, proceeds to go into the company coffers.

Scheduled Event 20

You Bunch of Hookers 

In this event you'll get to wiggle your worms!  If you haven't picked up Fishing yet, get your bums to Limsa Lominsa and pick it up!  

This event will take place all weekend long from  August 14th  to August 17th.  There is no start or stop time, just fishing time!  See how many levels, you can get.  See how many fish you can catch.  Ask a Culinarian what type of fish they need, and go gather for them!  The skies (and seas) are the limit.  I hope that this taste of fishing starts a fever amongst you, and that you'll appreciate the serenity of rod and reel.

If you have questions about fishing we have MANY fishing gurus.  So ask away!

I know that you all wanted to use the new photos from the photo shoot, but Gin and I were having trouble figuring out how to shrink them down.  So I decided to spend some time today messing with it.  Turns out it's really easy and we're both just derpy.  So enjoy your new header guys!  You look great!

Dear Pathfinders

A Letter from the Headmistress 

I'm going to be gone for an undetermined amount of time.  I hope you all have fun doing whatever it is you all want to do.  I'm unsure when I'll come back.  It might be tomorrow, or next week.  As of right now, you will have to rely on Kraio and your other officers.

I'm sure by now you've all heard what has happened.  I have no answers other than, I need time to myself.  I'm no longer having fun with the game and that is the whole point of a game.  I'm tired of the drama, I'm just plain tired.  I know you've all seen a change in me.  This is why.  

I still love you all. I hope to see you all soon.

Scheduled Event 19

Friday Night Fisting! 

Get your minds out of the gutter!  In this event you will be playing as Puglist/Monk.  Go out there and punch all the things! Feel the monk love, and spread it around.  

I've always felt that Puglist/Monk is underappreciated.  I'd like for all of you to try it out and see if you like it.  I will be available to give any hints and tips you might need.  We can run dungeons together and just have a great time learning a new set of skills.

This event will take place on Friday, August 7th.  It'll start at 3pm PT/5pm CT/6pm ET and will go on until midnight.  Hop on and off as you wish, and remember to have fun with it and ask for help if you need it!
