Ho Ho Ho, Secret Santa Time! 

It's time for the holidays, and no matter how you celebrate, this is the time of year where people come together and think of others wants and needs.  In the spirit of that, we're hosting a secret santa party!  So come join us for some fun, and gift exchanging.

This event will take place at Path Home (Lavender Beds Ward 9, Plot 6) on Saturday, December 17th @6:30pm PT/8:30pm CT/9:30pm ET. If you are unable to make it to the actual party, please make sure you give your giftee their gift beforehand.  I would hate for anyone to feel left out.  The party will end when everyone decides they've had enough merriment.

For any of our non Pathfinder friends, if you wish to join us at the party go right ahead!  We love to host you all, and we'll have even more fun with you there!

Greystar Anniversary!

Party Time! 

The Greystar ladies have had a great first year together and they invite you all to come celebrate their love and devotion.  There will be food, and fun for everyone!  So come to Path Home ready to party your pants off (literally since that is how a pathfinder party goes), but bring your gear because we'll also be heading into dungeons for more party fun.

This event will take place on Friday, October 14th @ 5pm PT/7pm CT/8pm ET and will continue until festivities have concluded.  Keep in mind that static Friday will happen during the party (starting at 6PM PT/8pm CT/9pm ET) and we hope that we can get groups together to go into dungeons/primals/whatever anyone wants to do, just to have fun and get content finished.

We hope to see you there and that you are just as happy and excited for our first anniversary.

RP Event: Reconstruction

Reconstruction: A Dragonsong War Epilogue

Server Malboro, Saturday, September 17, 6 p.m. eastern 

This role playing event is hosted by the free company Pathfinders, of server Malboro.  Read on for details!

The Dragonsong War may be over, but as the poem says, there's miles to go before we sleep.

Ishgard is hiring freelance craftsmen to bring materials to their villages and outposts, along with free company mercenaries to tend with the beasts and monsters still roaming free.  Free company Pathfinders has won the bid to organize the first part of this reconstruction effort.  As such, the Pathfinders are reaching out to their fellow companies and freelancers to lend a hand!

This event will be broken into multiple pieces happening at the same time, all of them intended to be in-character and role play oriented, including: 

An adventure through Dusk Vigil:  Whether Ishgard will reclaim this fortress for use or not is still undecided, but it's clear that the place needs to be cleansed of the dangers lurking within.

Scouting the Countryside:  Nidhogg may be slain, but his broken brood still roams, aimless and angry.  This will include cross-country hikes through a few of the zones, participating in FATEs or Temple Leves.  If the FATE "Torasque Force" spawns during this event, we will try to engage this as a major part of the event. 

Reconstruction:  Ishgard's military and resources have been stretched thin in recent months, and their villages and outposts are in desperate need of supplies, tools, and construction materials.  This group will be gathering and crafting simple items that will be bought at market value, simulating the idea of bringing supplies to Ishgard's outposts.

If time permits, we will wrap-up the event with a trip to the Pathfinders bar and dance hall in the Lavender Beds!

Each section of the event will be overseen by an officer of the Pathfinders acting as a "GM" for the event, to help keep things smooth an on-track.

If you'd like to participate, it's as easy as showing up for the event!  You can comment on this post, or whisper Ginal Everheart ahead of time as well, to help give us an idea of how many groups we may or may not need to adjust for.

A Nice Day for a Roe wedding 

Wedding bells are ringing again, and this time it's for Syngirael!  So grab an invite and join in her happiness!  

This wedding will take place on Wednesday, August 24th at 6pm PT/8pm CT/9pm ET. Syngirael, and her Eyrihanth will welcome people to the Path Home (Lavender Beds Ward 9, Plot 6) after the nuptials for well wishes and any partying that might occur.

Romantic Rain Wedding!

and their gonna get maaaaarried!  That's right people, our beloved Hannabela Ezrascarlet is getting hitched to Saxmo Rain this Saturday!  Now....I hope you all remember that this is a classy event so please control yourselves and we'll all have fun and make some really nice memories for our friends to remember.

This happy event will take place on Saturday, June 18 at 6pm PT/8pm CT/9pm ET. It will be followed by a reception held at The Path Home, Lavender Beds Ward 9, Plot 6. There will be speeches and possibly some grouping up to go celebrate in dungeons.  Nothing says I love you quite like fisting!  So bring your fancy duds, but also your killing gear and be ready for a night to remember!

Also....I can't say this enough.  Please no blow up the bride time.  This is supposed to be a wonderful, and loving occasion.  Save the theatrics for OUTSIDE the chapel, okay?

Gotta Catch 'em all! 

In this event, I'd like for us all to get together and try to get those ponies and birdies we've all been eyeballing.  So let's group together and hit those primals right where it hurts!

This event is pretty self explanatory. We'll get into group and run the primals (of our choosing) until we get ponies.  There will be no set hours for this just when it starts and stops.  You will be responsible for choosing your team and coordinating times.

The event starts on Friday, June 3rd at 3pm PT/5pm CT/6pm ET it will end on Sunday, June 5th at 6pm PT/8pm CT/9pm ET. Start planning now so you can make the most of the event!

As you all know we're going to be getting a mansion soon.  I'd like for you all to have a chance to see what we might get, and make your voice known if you have a preference on where we get it.  Ultimately it will be up to me, and RNGesus, but I'd like to know which way the Pathfinder wind blows.

 

Therefore...I have creeped upon the mansion owners of Eorzea, and I encourage you to do the same.  I will list out the preferred plots and you can see them at your leisure.  Drop me a moogle mail, or just let me know which plot you vote for and we'll see what happens.

Event 33

Fateful Weekend 

To ease into things, eventwise, I think we should have a nice easy event that lets everyone know we're back in business.  Therefore...Fateful Weekend was born!

In this event we will gather into groups and fate for as long as we can stand it.  For those of us gathering crystals for Anima weapons, atma for Atma weapons, we'll be sticking to those areas needed.  Everyone else....just go kill all the things in all the places!  Fates are a great way to see the scenery, meet new players, and of course....level!

This event will take place on Friday, May 6th at 3pm PT/5pm CT/6pm ET Through Sunday, May 8th at 6pm PT/8pm CT/9pm ET. 

I hope to see you all there and that we have a blast together.

Anniversary Event

Pathfinders Anniversary! 

Paths is turning one and we want to have fun!  This is a list of the events that will take place Friday, January 29th through Sunday, January 31st. They will happen periodically through the day as well as a few scheduled events.  If no one shows up at the scheduled time then we will try to do the event when people show up.  Let's not have this anniversary be a flop people!

Event 1-Personal Chocobo Racing 

 Saturday, January 30th at 5pm PT/7pm CT/8pm ET

Hop on your personal bird and race on a predetermined track with others!  Winner gets a special barding and bragging rights!  Please sign up through moogle mail with Ely/Lena so we know who to expect!  We will take late entries but it is nice to know ahead of time how many racers we will have.  

Event 2-Pathfinder Fashion Show

Friday, January 29th at 5pm PT/7pm CT/8pm ET

Come to the Path Home and show off your best duds!  There will be 5 categories and many chances to win!  Sign up (with what category you'll be doing) through moogle mail with Ely/Lena. Winners will receive 10 glamour prisms of their choosing, made special for them by Ely.

Join us at the Path Home for a fun guessing game that will have you picking your brain!  This event will be headed by our own Ilyas Novak, and he's got some great stuff already!  To Participate, just respond to the call and take a seat!  Winner will receive a rare minion!  Show it off to all your friends!!

Event 4-Pathfinder Bar Hopping 

All Weekend long!

We're going to do what Pathfinders do best!  Go to the bars in the main city states and party our pants right off!  Just show up when its called out and lets see how many people we can get to naked dance with us in celebration of our first year!  WE ALL WIN!  Yay!!

Event 5-Final Fantasy Trivia

Join us at the Path Home for some fun trivia and a chance to show off how much you know and love Final Fantasy!    This event will be headed by Ginal Everheart and she's got some nice tidbits for you to take a guess at!  To participate, just respond to the call and take a seat!  The winner will receive a map.  Go out and make your own adventure!  Good Luck!

Event 6-Scary Story Time/Story Time/Character Story

Sunday, January 31st at 4pm PT/6pm CT/7pm ET

Visit Ely's new home to sit around the fire and tell stories.  They don't have to be scary, but we do enjoy a good scary story around these parts so don't be shy!  Everyone who submits a story should also type it up and submit it to Ely thru her email on the website. If the story isn't original to you, she wont post it on the site but please feel free to share it regardless! She's created a brand new blog (connected to this one) that will showcase pathfinder creativity! You may also submit artwork.

anniversary update!

Update! 

 I've been trying my hardest to come up with some awesome events for the anniversary while getting ready for my impending move.  It's been a bit difficult but I'm nailing down the final bits to what I would like for us to do.  I do know that we will be celebrating on Friday, January 29th through Sunday, January 31st. 

But Ely....Our anniversary is on the 23rd!?

This I know!  So....on the 23rd we will be gathering together at the house to share what we like best about Pathfinders, our favorite memories, and what being a Pathfinder means to you.  I feel like that would be a great way to draw a close to our first year and ring in a new one.

If other things happen while we're gathered together....well...we are Pathfinders!  You never know what shenanigans we might get into.  So be ready for anything!

I love you all so much!  You've made this first year memorable and exciting.  I hope I've been a good leader for you, and that you remain a Pathfinder for yet another year!

FC Anniversary time!

We're Number One! 

Well...at least we're turning one!  That's right folks, we're coming up on our one year anniversary and I'd like to make it a memorable one.  We've been through a lot of ups and downs but we've stuck it out and we're still the most awesome people anyone on Eorzea could meet.  So in the next couple weeks be on the lookout for storming (of the brain variety), and more posts about what events we'll be hosting.  I love you all!
